The Card of Playing Cardways
A two colour pack of cards that inspire artists and designers. I pulled quotes out of The Art of Looking Sideways, a book that is a powerhouse of creativity.
The suits are tweaked to become aids for inspiration:
Memory (Hearts)
Reason (Diamonds)
Imagination (Clubs)
Question (Spades)
The playing cards remind us to remain curious, use our knowledge and memory and keep logic in mind and let our imagination run wild, while creating work.
While enjoying a break from work, these cards create a humorous dialogue about 'more and less' in whatever order they fall on each other.

Match Point
The collection of matchboxes we created as a part of a group project named Matchpoint were a comment on Kabir’s non-sense verse.
Each Match Box has a Doha at the back and an illustration on front and inside.

Gross Domestic Product
A banner saying ‘Gross Domestic Product’ on a pile of garbage
juxtaposes the term which is actually used to define total
weath created in a nation- thus sending out a provocative message.
Also, “Gross” can be pronounced as “gross” meaning filthy or dirty.
Bageecha: The Plant Lamp
For a course on gardening, we constructed a lamp using kitchen
utensils such as the idli maker, an egg beater, spoons, a seive etc.
This lamp is meant to be hung in a kitchen and has herbal plants such
as oregano and mint planted in it, so that the user can garnish meals
by plucking out fresh leaves from the lamp.
